Three of PGL's favorite players will kick off the Summer Tavern Tales 2016 - Marcin "Gnimsh" Filipowicz, Jakub "Lothar" Szylguski and Alex “Raven” Baguley will return to Bucharest, Romania, in July for the tournament. 32 players will compete for a 25k prize pool and 43 Hearthstone Championship points. To determine playoff spots, two qualifiers will be held each having 256 slots. Those qualifiers will be held over the next two weeks. During the event there will also be interviews, activities with the players, and tons of social media interaction. Twitch is the official partner this year and you can find an English broadcast here.

In the past 5 years, the PGL has held at least 50 events and built a reputation as one of the bigger players in the Esports market. Including tournaments for CS:GO, Dota 2, League of Legends, Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, and Minecraft.
